Naikan in psychiatrie en onderzoek

Naikan wordt samen met de zogenaamde Morita therapie genoemd als een psychotherapie van Japanse origine.

In welbepaalde psychiatrische settings wordt de methode Naikan, soms in aangepaste vorm, aangewend in het kader van de behandeling van als psychiatrische stoornis gediagnoseerde klachten.
